Can someone tell me why mosaic furniture and decor is so expensive?

I just don’t understand. I know that its time consuming, but the pieces are not very expensive if you go to the right places. I think that people charge way too much for this kind of art and i was wondering why. Has anyone ever done this and is it easy? If so, id like to save some money and do it myself. Thanks

That was exactaly what I was going to say cheap material easiar labor…but maybe it’s an original art cost … makes sense… toally done it my self…had a wood table with a piece of glass that sat and half inch above it and needed to go… so instead I broke up some tiles I went dumpester diving with and had everyone have fun with it … if your not artistic you may wanna ask everyone close to you to chip in because it is FRUSTATING>……

You answered this yourself. It’s time consuming. Easy to do yourself.
