How do I get BIN Zinzer Primer out of carpet and off of slate?

We were using a sprayer to apply this stuff and a little got on our darker colored carpet and dark slate tile flooring. If you know what can take either of these out without discoloring even more please let me know! Thanks!

Probably not what you want to hear, sorry.
BIN is a shellac based product. It will stick to nearly anything.
Denatured alcohol is the only thing that will cut shellac (without getting into some really nasty chemicals that will also dissolve everything else).
You might have some luck with the carpet. The denatured alcohol may or may not damage the carpet, depending upon what it is made out of. If you have a scrap, soak it in some of the alcohol and see how it responds. If it tolerated the alcohol, you might be in luck. Saturate the stained areas with the alcohol, let it set just a couple of minutes and press the area with a clean, dry cloth to absorb. Repeat as needed. Probably will not get all of it, but you might get a good bit. The alcohol will be rather flammable until completely dry, so be careful and move some air through the area.
If you catch it while it is still wet, ammonia will cut it. Again, test the carpet before use. If your carpet will tolerate, you may want to use that after you have softened the problem areas with the alcohol. If you do use ammonia, be sure to rinse well with clear water several times to get it all out. Never mix ammonia with any other cleaning product — you don’t want any left behind if you clean your carpet later.
The slate is a different matter. The alcohol will not harm the slate. A good quality denatured alcohol should not cause any additional staining. The problem is slate is slightly porous. As you dissolve the BIN, it will become more viscous than the original product and may go farther into the slate. I would try a brass detailing brush to remove as much of the product from the surface as possible and leave it at that.

I believe it’s alcohol-based, so you might want to try denatured alcohol.
