You can paint that edge w/ your wall paint and a artists brush. You can tale a small pc of wood molding and glue into place to trim it out. Prefinish it 1 st. And if so how much? You might want to trim them off with a rotozip tool and a tile cutting bit. If it's less than 1/4" then a little caulk behind the edge would be fine.
