I need to clean a very dingy tile…what is the best way to clean a slate tile…?

I need to clean up a tile floor that had not been cleaned in six months…it is a little dingy the dirt seem slightly ground in…what is the best way to clean this with a mop….is it best to use just dish soap and water…Mr. Clean or something else…
thank you in advance for any help you can give.
the type of tile is "slate" it is not a smooth tile.

I use hot water with a spoon of oxi clean power.

If the tile is set like a floor tile I would use hot water, dish detergent and a mop or use old fashioned elbow grease with a dish rag,
