installing small glass tile backsplash?

I know that the wall has to be clean and free of debris, does it also have to be smooth or will the mastik fill in any holes?
corgiesr: I am not near a Lowe’s and I have had some bad advice from Home Depot, thanks for answering.

Mastik should fill any small holes. Check with some place like Lowe’s or Home Depot. They can answer all your questions.

Yes.. it fills in the holes.. just make sure it’s even coating.. so you get a really smooth finish.. Good luck! Hope your project comes out great!

The rougher the back is for the tiles glue to stick to the better it will stick
