Is there a big difference between sanded and unsanded grout?

Besides the obvious, what is the difference? I’m using the grout on stained glass for mosaic type projects. What one is best for glass and tile?

Sanded grout is grainier. It all depends on the look you’re going for.
If I were using grout on a glass mosaic I’d use unsanded grout. I think sanded grout would take away from the beauty of the stained glass.

Sanded grout is usually used on floor tiles, and unsanded grout is for wall tiles. I would think unsanded is what you want for glass.
