I’d like to make my own mosaic backsplash, but I do not know where to get ideas for my drawings? Does anyone know a good website?

Are you talking the rubble type were you make it your self? Or maybe you mean the 1×1 or 2×2 that come sheet mounted? Still you can mix or match , make stripes ,or perhaps use mosaics between some basic or a stone tile? Some more info will help. I have a few pics of of back splashes if you need some ideas.E mail me if you have some questions.. Looking under American Olean, Florida Tile. Mohawk ,Congoleum Tile, U S ceramics.Laufin Tile, These place have web sites of there tile and maybe you can pick up some ideas there. GL

Go visit some tile stores, they have some really creative designs for backslashes you can draw from.

i like to save my slate roofing scraps, i break or cut them into pieces and separate them into colors. sometimes i incorporate other stone scraps (which can be found for free at construction site dumpsters) like limestone or marble to achieve certain colors that slate does not. then, just draw a picture freehand, then just glue your tiles and grout. i’m somewhat of a purist so i only use standard mortar mix (portland cement and sharp sand) but sometimes tile mastics are the best for mosaics cause mastic will give you more time to work than standard mortar. get inspired but do it yourself, it will be much more rewarding. good luck!

You want ideas however I am not sure what ideas…
You have drawings already in mind?
What kind of websites can I help you with?
I have loads of Mosaic websites..some even include those who have done there own thing on walls,floors,tables etc..
