		<description>Tile first. The hood will then Butt up against the tile. It&#039;s has  cleaner lines. That&#039;s what we did with ours. The contractor who built our house had it the other way around (hood first) and it was a mess. You always do things better when they need to be redone because you take the time to do it right. Have fun and Good Luck.</description>
