Terracotta Colored Slate Tile – Kitchen ideas Advice please Share?

We are remodeling a house we just bought – I found my dream floor, but now I still have to pick out cabinet and counter and appliances. This has been my whole summer dilemma and I have to chose, We are moving in next week – (with out a kitchen because of me and my decision making). Now I finally narrowed one thing – my floors – What colors go amazing with terracotta floor color? thanks for reading.

    I’d recommend a light/medium maple, or a linen color (with or without glaze). I think a light or medium toned cherry would be too close to the floors and runs the risk of looking washed out. As for coordinating colors – keep it warm. Creams, tans, butter yellows, sage green. you can put bold accents in brick red or an earthy blue/green. I put some links below for references for the cabinet colors.

    Sounds a bit southwest. Try a cherry cabinet. You could go with an orange wash on the walls.

    A nice off-white might go, or you could do cherry wood cabinets with glass fronts. I love the way glass front cabinets look. I wish I could help you more (I designed my Mom’s kitchen) but I’m better hands-on. Good luck though. Remodeling stuff is so fun!

    I have maple auburn glaze kitchen cabinets and really would love a terracotta floor what color do you recommend .
