Here mosiac law is not referring to Moses. This meaning of mosiac is a grouping of diverse objects, such as small pieces of stone, glass, tile, etc. that of different colors inlaid to form a picture or design. The various objects if just cut out by themselves would not make sense, but together can have a unity and sameness of appeal.
The purpose of the mosiac idea is that it injects feelings into the Word that is flesh and holy to believers for instance in John 1 of The Holy Bible. But it also works against pulling small portions of the Bible out of context. The mosaic concept provides an overall impression that I think Jesus and Paul bring, for example. Keeping a broadness of view works to encourage studying in the spirit. For example actually reading all 42 chapters of Job,shows diverse complexities–not the misinterpretation that its says everything ultimately works for the good. I am saying that unity and clearness is present in the 66 books of the Bible, but that it does not have cliches or is overly simplistic.
Any thoughts? Agreements? Disagreements? Other examples, maybe better. All and any blessedly received.
